My name is Angela and my husband and I reside in Tennessee. When I'm not testing the waters online blogging, I enjoy DIY projects around the house, scrapbooking and making cards. I keep busy in the yard and flower beds and our 4x4 garden patch. I also enjoy photography and taking odd pictures of ordinary things.


My husband and I have welcomed two new brothers to run our house, and they have settled right in! We continue to enjoy hanging out with our friends and neighbors and riding our bikes and spending time together!

introducing new additions to the family

To those that don’t know me too well might think that this blog title means there’s going to be tiny little feet running around our house soon, and you’d be half right … and those that do know me will know that this means that those tiny little feet are actually paws! A dear friend ours came home from trip to Texas to find the little kitten (of about 9 months) she left in the care of her husband and 3 sons was prego! I’m not saying her husband is to blame, in his defense those 3 sons are a handful!! She let me know that if we were ready to be kitty parents again we had first pick of the litter… well, as it turns out I might have been the hold up all this time for us to jump into pet parent-hood. Mike has all for it! Thought I had Quit....

You guys thought I had died... I know... Well... I wish I had a story to tell that would explain my lax of posting to this blog... Other than to say life has gotten in the way. Cute kitties, baking, cycling and work have all consumed most of my free time. What few minutes I had to myself were spent with my eyes closed hoping no one would need me for anything! But I'm back and am going to give it another try. I have had lots of projects in the craft room to share so there's no lack of content... just lack of free time to share! It's me ... again!

... time to try again ... Well... if I start this post by saying I'm going to try my hand at this ... again .... many of you would be shocked! Lots, and I mean LOTS has happened since my last post... we survived a pandemic, and I've changed jobs.... twice! We bought a pizza oven, the husband got a promotion, we've had several deaths in the family ... and lots of Life has happened in between there! I'm not going to back up and document the last few years... but I will start fresh now and fill you guys in on the past - as we move on! 2023 Holiday Season: Things we have done this Holiday Season: watched a lot of Hallmark and Great American Family Christmas movies! visited Dollywood - for the Christmas lights and shows finished the 2023 Russ Christmas Card got ALL of our trees up (there are 3) had a great Thanksgiving with family got the outdoor decorations up! had the annual Ladies Christmas Tea at church - so much fun!
